Puppy Palace.

My niece and nephew got Nintendo DS's (DSes? DSs'?) for Christmas this year and a few new games. One of the ones that Mikey got was a game called Puppy Palace. He doesn't usually play it anymore because, well... it's a little on the dull side. I, on the other hand, can not stop playing that stupid game. I go up to visit my sister and her family and I end up on one side of the couch cleaning, training and selling puppies in my pet shop Sir BitesALot. Please don't look up this game, I don't think my ego can take it.

I think (no, I know) this game is for preschool aged children. I know it's lame. I know I go home and my right arm hurts a little from holding that small plastic pen. I know Barkos aren't real money and I know that it is a lot more work to bathe a dog than just waving a magic wand over him. But I can't stop playing. The puppies need me to clean them and teach them social skills. The people rely upon me to sell them quality dogs that are happy and healthy. And I want my pet shop to be the biggest shop on the block (not there yet, you have to have like 3000 sales or something outrageous.) Don't worry puppies!! I plan to be back on Sunday, so wait for me.

I haven't really done anything crafty this week except for this:

It's one of 20 hats I need to make before next Christmas. I'm making 10 of these for girls and I need to find a boy pattern and make 10 of those. Mom, Dad and I have decided to make little care packages for new mothers in our local communities. I think it's a fun project, but I wanted to finish 3 a month and I have this one and one barely started. They are quick though and if I get cracking I know I can get them done.

And here's what is going on outside my kitchen window:

Boom. A semi-truck. Score. And Katie is home for lunch.

I WAS home for lunch! Pretty sweet. I'm not going to lie, I had Taco Bell. I was starving!

P.S. You could borrow the game from Mike and then use my DS sometime if you needed to. I know those withdrawals are hard.

You know, usually there is a very sexy truck outside your window. How sad that it is not there today :(

I think I'm going to make What's going on outside my kitchen window a closer for all my blogs. So I'm sure the sexy beast will make many appearances.
